How Does Penn East Work? Globally Accessible. Locally Yours.

Penn East is a credit union, or a financial cooperative owned entirely by those who are members (shareholders) of the co-op. As a member-owner, you benefit from the same types of banking solutions—deposit accounts, vehicle and home loans, credit cards, branches, digital access—delivered in a more affordable, thoughtful fashion. Savings rates are generally higher, loan rates are lower, and fees are smaller. Simply put, Penn East is purposefully built how banking was meant to be.

Where Do I Start? It’s Here, It’s Fast, and Easier Than You Think.

As a local credit union, we return our profits to you through lower rates, lower fees and superior service. We offer stellar rates on many different types of loans, including auto loans, home loans and credit cards. Whether you’re a busy professional, retiree or student, we have checking, savings, and investment accounts specifically tailored for you.

We also offer 24 hour account access through our Mobile App, Online Banking, ATMs or Audio Response System to those who need to reach us beyond our business hours. Best of all—the vast majority of our services are completely free.
