Penn East FCU is proud to announce the Milinda Project First Responder Award, honoring the bravery and selfless service of local first responders in Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wayne, and Wyoming Counties, Pennsylvania. This $2,500 award will be granted to one exceptional individual who has made a significant impact on our community. The nominee cannot be directly related to a Penn East employee. Please see the rules for the full list of eligibility requirements.

This award celebrates the legacy of Milinda Catalano, a beloved Penn East employee, and her late husband, Gus, a Paramedic who exemplified courage and dedication to helping others.

The Milinda Project First Responder Award Nominations Are Now Closed

Thank you to everyone who participated in honoring our local heroes. We have received an overwhelming response and are excited to review the nominations.
