We have some bittersweet news to share with you today. After over 19 years of dedicated service, our esteemed President and CEO, Jeff DeBree, has announced his plans to retire on July 28, 2023. Jeff’s visionary leadership, unwavering commitment, and profound knowledge have been instrumental in shaping Penn East Federal Credit Union into the outstanding financial institution it is today.
Under Jeff’s guidance, we have experienced remarkable growth and achieved numerous milestones, all while prioritizing the well-being and satisfaction of our valued members. His tireless efforts have helped us become one of the largest credit unions in the Greater Wyoming Valley, serving over 24,000 individuals and families throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.
The Board of Directors would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Jeff for his outstanding contributions. His passion for service and dedication to our membership has been invaluable, and we are immensely grateful for his unwavering commitment to our credit union. We wish Jeff the very best as he embarks on this new chapter of his life, and we are confident that he will find great success in all his future endeavors.
As we bid farewell to Jeff, we also look toward the future with optimism and excitement. While Jeff’s departure will leave a void, we are committed to building upon the strong foundation he has laid.
